Radiesse

Radiesse differs from other fillers in that it is made up of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres.  It offers more volume augmentation for areas such as the cheeks, marionette lines and nasal crease where Juvederm and Restylane can become quite expensive.  Radiesse can be injected into the cheeks to plump up collagen, fill folds, volumize hollowness, and create high cheekbones...giving a mini-face lift effect.  

Radiesse (formerly Radiance) is a biocompatible, non-toxic, non-allergenic filler that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and skin folds around the mouth and nose, and fills certain scars.  Proven to cause increased collagen production in studies, Radiesse will help promote even more plumping of the area over time.  Repeat injections within 6-9 months of the original injection will actually promote more collagen genesis and plumping.  Like most soft tissue fillers, Radiesse lasts approximately 9-12 months on average.  It is an easy, in-office procedure which only takes approximately 15 minutes to perform.
